Maya Angelou says…………

“I’ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone.  People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.”

A Personal Hug Story

My sister-in-law Catherine just sent me a hug story.  My nephew Tavis’ partner Mia was working at her restaurant in Toronto and was serving a group of people who were there for a birthday party.  One of the presents the guest of honour received was………guess what??  one of our hugzz!

As Catherine said, “you’re out there sister…….but you already knew that didn’t you?”

Every day the “coincidences are more common and I see clearly that distance is an illusion.  We are all so close – so let’s all be friends!

The Girl Effect – powerful

Our youth will be the ones who turn this world around – especially the amazing young

women.  Aishy Vimal is a 14-year-old Malaysian girl who feels deeply for the plight of

12-year-old girls from impoverished countries who have no option to get education and

are often married very young.  Often these young girls die in childbirth.  She had a brilliant

idea to make a different.  Read about it in “The Girl Effect” You will be impressed and moved.

Bravo for our youth!
